Product Descriptions and Features Locomotive and Railcar conversion products may be presented as Engravings, Sand Carvings, Full Color Printings and Transfers, and/or combinations of these processes. STANDARD and CUSTOM PRODUCTS Custom presentations are available by order. Please see our railart concept folder for ideas. Stock Presentations on Wood Stock conversion subjects are offered as surface laser engravings. Stock clipart figure and sign engravings are centered on coaster size squares of 4”x4” and display sizes of 5”x5” and 6”x6”. Other stock subjects are presented on or rectangular plaques of various dimensions.Wood choices for engravings include: white oak, red oak, cherry, maple, birch, poplar, red alder or unique re-sawn Railroad Tie (RRT) material prepared in accordance with EPA advisories. A clear sealer and finish is applied to each wood item to enhance the natural color shadings and patina of the wood. Special orders may include other species selected by our customer.
Stock Presentation on Hardboards Stock conversions are presented in full color, black on white or other background color, using high quality dye sublimation surface printing methods. Stock figure and sign subjects are presented on coaster sizes of 3.5 ” or 4” squares of 3.5” or 4” diameter circles or rectangular presentations of various dimensions.
